Wow, can Ms. Torre write!! Tyler Rollins is the daughter of Yankee legend Frank Rollins and one of the team’s bat boys. The first time she meets Chase Stern is when he transfers to the Yankees because of a scandal involving another players wife. Based on Chase’s reputation, Frank Rollins was scared for his teen daughter, he had the right to be because Tyler is beautiful, but naive. This is a love story, but also at the same time, there’s a serial killer on the loose that can’t be stopped. The writing is wonderful, the characters draw you in and keep you entertained. We get to know who the serial killer is and why he did it, but there is still so much suspense, you can’t help but get drawn in.
For me, this has been one of the best books I’ve read this year. I can’t wait to read more by this author!!
